    Varietal:Syrah Region:Hawke's Bay Volume:750ml

    Tasting Note:
The grapes were promptly crushed on arrival at the winery. Syrah is the dominant grape varietal. The free run juice was drained off once the grapes had settled in the stainless steel tank. And a temperature controlled fermentation has retained the delicate lifted red fruit flavours in the finished wine.
Rich in strawberry, raspberry and melon characters, this 2016 ‘Maverick’ Rosé is under-pinned with 5g/L residual sweetness. The balance in this wine was achieved by timely stopping the fermentation in order to have this succulent mouth feel. Generous and vibrant, the ‘Maverick’ Rosé is ideal late afternoon on the patio and with Mediterranean dishes.

    Cellaring:
Drinking well now and over the next 24 months.
