The 2018 ‘Ohiti Estate’ Sauvignon Blanc has fresh gooseberry, passion fruit and a hint of lime. Made in a dry style, the mid palate has low acidity and good mouth feel, thus reflecting the ripeness and low yields when harvested. 'Robertson' Pinot Gris 2018

The 2018 ‘Robertson’ Pinot Gris is full of fresh aromatic notes and flavours. Showcasing pear, peach, spice, ginger are complimented with a hint of Manuka honey. While the 2018 ‘Robertson’ Pinot Gris is nearly dry (with 5 g/L residual sugar) and balanced soft acidity. ‘Late Harvest’ Viognier 2016

This wine has an inviting and fragrant aroma. This ‘Late Harvest’ Viognier has an extravaganza of flavours, namely honey, apricot, rock-melon and subtle mineral notes.
While the residual sweetness is at 150g/L, the natural acidity of the wine is seamless, hence there is no cloying sensation on the palate or finish. It is a perfect accompaniment to a wide variety of desserts.

'Bergman' Chardonnay 2017

The wine is rich in stone-fruits, peaches, melon and a subtle note of vanilla. The 2017 ‘Bergman’ Chardonnay also exhibits a touch from burnt match from the wild fermentation. Nearly a third of the oak barrels underwent malolactic fermentation giving depth to the mid-palate. The 2017 ‘Bergman’ Chardonnay is vibrant with a number of facets all contributing to this complex attractive wine - enjoy.Cellaring:

'Marshall Bank' Chardonnay 2015

The 'Marshall Bank' Chardonnay grapes were grown at Ohiti Estate. 'Marshall Bank' was an old family property in west Otago where Dr. Bill Robertson practiced for 45 years.
The 2015 ‘Marshall Bank’ Chardonnay exudes ripe peach, rock-melon, and toast, along with well integrated oak notes, which all carry through onto the full and engaging palate. The partial malolactic fermentation has broadened the mid palate and added to its complexity and elegance resulting in a long finish. Even in its youth it is very approachable, but development will evolve and reward with time. *(SOLD OUT)Cellaring:

'Indulgence' Viognier 2017

Something special - as the 2017 ‘Indulgence’ has a mere 275g/L of natural residual sugar. Aromas that carry through onto the palate include - honeysuckle, apricots, peach and honeycomb are all evident and contribute to the wines richness and length. Due to the incredible residual sugar, the 2017 ‘Indulgence’ will continue to enrich in the bottle. While the 2017 ‘Indulgence’ is generously sweet, the acidity maintains a freshness and elevates the fruit profile.Cellaring:

'Burnfoot' Merlot 2015

Bold as brass, the 2015 ‘Burnfoot’ Merlot exhibits black fruits, leather, plums, wild herbs, generous oak and succulent tannins. The 2015 ‘Burnfoot’ Merlot reflects the ripeness of the grapes at harvest time - it was another good vintage for Merlot in the Tuki Tuki Valley. This 2015 ‘Burnfoot’ Merlot has a well-integrated and balanced palate, making it approachable and enjoyable now, and it will also age well.Cellaring:

'Back Block' Syrah 2017

The ‘Back Block’ Syrah has proven to be an excellent food wine; hence it is served in restaurants in New Zealand, Australia and in the United Kingdom. The 2017 Back Block Syrah is a succulent harmonious red wine exhibiting sweet berry fruits, earthy tannins, dried spice, pepper and entwined oak. It is very approachable, but equally it will continue to develop nicely in the bottle. Another addition to the legacy.Cellaring:

'Ohiti Estate' Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

Harvested in excellent condition, the 2017 ‘Ohiti Estate’ Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits concentrated blackberries, hints of blackcurrants, dried herbs, toast, leather and dried spice. The French oak is well integrated thus creating palate complexity and weight to this generous wine. Its predecessor won ‘Gold’ at the Australian & NZ Boutique Wine Show 2018 - this vintage is in the same mold.Cellaring:

'Sun-Dried' Malbec 2016

2016 was another ideal season to make a 'Sun-Dried' Malbec. 'Sun-Dried' wines have been made since the 5th century BC - 'Amarone' wines from northern Italy being the most famous.
Intensely dark, this ‘Sun-Dried’ Malbec shouts dried herbs, dark ripe plum, liquorice, violets and succulent oak. This wine has an enticing mouthfeel due to the weight and fullness on the mid palate. The 2016 vintage follows its illustrious predecessors with aplomb. Once again Malbec on steroids comes to mind. This wine is generous in all departments, the 2016 ‘Sun-Dried’ Malbec will compliment most red meats.Cellaring:

‘Highland’ Merlot / Cabernet 2015

The flavours in the 2015 ‘Platinum’ Merlot / Cabernet are orchestrated, with the Merlot from the Highland Vineyard leading from the front. Though with perfect balance, this Syrah has an elegance and inviting personality.
